Biography
Giuliano Valeri graduated at Rome's Art College and then he obtained
a degree on Communication sciences and technologies at "La Sapienza University"
of Rome. He got also an honoris Causa graduation thanks to hi cultural and anthropological
studies about the Mediterranean populations. He lives between Rome and Panicale
where he works on marketing, brand-design, Advertising, journalism, and, obviously,
painting (His first painting dates 1959). As journalist and expert he developed and
cured "Zoom" an art culture column published on the "Messaggero", Rome's most popular
newspaper. "Zoom" was so succesful that was taken on TV (Telestusio, Teletuscolo,
Channel 4) and then published as a book: "Zoom su Roma". During those years of activities
he obtained several prizes and recognition. He published also a book about the culture
in Rome in the 800 for the University of Rome "La Sapienza", where, without censure,
he wrote about the nice and nasty of the European culture in the IIX century. His
cultural and artistic approach is without any ambiguity full of clear figurative
content. His pecular and unique interpretation of the Umbria 400 painting style
is a good example of it. This is a professional choice that willingly do not give
space to abstactism, the 900's artistic style whose main. characteristic is to use
unreal and meaningless chromatic appearances.
